About Me
My name is Joe Mulubwa. I am a farmer of Makeni area in Lusaka Province.
I am married with two children. I am an accountant by profession, though my passion is agriculture.
My Business
I own a 10 acre farm together with wife, Judy and we plant mainly vegetables which we supply to restaurants and shops within our area. We grow green beans, rape, pumpkin leaves and spinach.
Some of the vegetables are supplied to Soweto market, which is the largest market in the country.
Loan Proposal
I plan to use the loan to purchase two 100m Polypipes for use to irrigate my garden.
I have already sunk a borehole at my farm, however I have not connected the water supply.
The loan would enable me and my wife to plant and water seedlings throughout the year and not depend on the rain for irrigation.
Income Source
We already make sales of vegetables at the market, as well as to traders and supermarkets in our area.
Our farm is very productive and we sell various types of vegetables to the public.
