About Me
My name is Tetiwe Mary Banda. I live in Kitwe's Nkana West area.
I live with my husband Derick and our two year old baby. My husband works for as an agronomist and I am a chef at one of the lodges in town.
My Business
As a professional chef it has always been my dream to open up my own eating place.
So in 2019, my husband and I put our savings together and we opened up a bakery near the main market. Initially I hired two people to help me with making bread and buns.
Now I have a workforce of seven people and together our bakery has become one of the leading places to buy bread, buns and pies.
Loan Proposal
I plan to use the loan to complete payment of a baking oven which I bought on lay-by from one of the leading stores in town.
The oven would enable our bakery to increase production of our warm and tasty pies, bread, cakes and buns.

My bakery makes money and it is doing well. The place is always full of people and business is booming.
