About Me

am martin mutua muthami .i schooled at kitui high school and attained mean grade of c plus. After high school i lacked finance to continue with education and since my family was not able i started small scale business of mixed farming and vegetables. currently i own several pieces of small plots where i have grown different varieties of crops for sale. I also have a green house where i have grown tomatoes for sale and waiting for harvest. The culture of our family is we do help each other to see us grow.My daughter wants to be lawyer and my son an engineer.my past time was filled with fun and i enjoyed mostly going swimming and playing football.

My Business

I am a small scale farmer and hopefully waiting to become a large scale farmer in the near future. i grow cash crops ranging from tomatoes and even onions. I have a green house where i have grown tomatoes and i am looking forward to build one more green house to cater for my ever growing customers.
Farming is important everywhere because everyone needs food and that is why i always have customers through the year. I basically chose this business because of the profits associated with it. normally when there are rains i make around 50,000ksh in profits on a monthly basis, and when the rains and business are low i can manage profits up to 30,000 a month.
I use this profits to educate my two children who are in school and part of the proceeds go to cater for my family needs. the remaining amount i inject it back into the farm.

Loan Proposal

i will use the loans to buy fertilizers and pesticide for my farm produce. i will buy two 50 kgs bags of fertilizers worth around 72 dollars and pesticides worth around 45 dollars. This will increase my production rate and enable me make more profits through the year. It will also enable me have enough produce for my customers who are ever increasing.
i expect to get an extra 130 dollars in terms of profit from my farm produce. it will also enable me to expand in the near future given that i will be earning more profits.
