About Me

I was brought up in a family of five siblings; I am the fourth born. My family has been a source of constant support & help in all spheres of my life. I completed my ' O' in the year 2004.

I’m a passionate, optimistic & dedicated woman who takes up responsibilities with utmost enthusiasm and see to it that I complete my tasks and assignments in time. I’ve a great amount of perseverance to achieve my goal. My optimistic and planned approach in things I do is what is driving me towards my success.

Due to good interpersonal skills, I was able first to inquire into different kinds of business strategies before I came to start my own business. And, through my personal savings and a little support from my family members, I was able to start my own business.

Our society is multi- cultural so it's easier to cope with everyone.

My Business

I provide internet services and photocopy services. I chose this kind of business because the Internet is the cheapest and fastest way to send and receive information. With photocopy, people can produce more copies for future references or if they want to give the same information to different people. Also, the demand was high and the place is nearby school, whereby I supply photocopy paper and, at the same time, produce copies for them. (High visibility, nearness to the close-by residents)

Per month, I can manage to make Kshs 20,000/=, on which I pay rent and the electricity bill, purchase more stock, and save the rest of the amount left.

Loan Proposal

If I get this loan, it will help me improve my business in the following ways:
- purchasing 2 computers, estimated at 50 dollars each
- buying of laminator, 20 dollars

Despite the fact that I still have a deficit of about 40 dollars for improving my cyber cafe, I am grateful that, through this small loan, I will be able to see some of the returns the loan will create; by purchasing more computers, I will be able to offer computer class, hence generating more income and also employing a few people.
