About Me
Being from a semi-Arid land of the larger kerio valley region, you cannot depend on rain-fed farming. This has prompted many people within my locality to venture into fruit farming because it can flourish even under little rainfall. It was during my early days in campus while pursuing an undergraduate course when i had a chance to explore other geographic locations and realised that those fruits from my locality are of a high demand in other places where they cannot do well.
With my small amount of upkeep money, i made some purchases and sold them en-route school and realized that i could make some good money from the business.
And now that am through with my schooling, i would wish to explore this business opportunity well.
My Business
Having been done with my undergraduate course, I would wish to make myself economically empowered by expanding this business of mine.This business is unique in the sense that i come from a zone that produces a lot of fruits be it mangoes, Oranges, Melons, just to mention a few. Also the proximity of Iten and Eldoret towns makes it even more viable.
This, i cannot realize with the little savings i have been making from the profits. This loan will go a long way in making me realize and expand my business dreams.
Loan Proposal
When I get this loan, I will utilize it by purchasing more stock for my Fruit business; this will involve buying those readily available within the locality and taking another step to source other different varieties outside the locality. With the availability of the loan, I will ensure that I buy different varieties of fruits to meet the needs of the growing number of customers both locally and regionally. I will also use it to expand my business premise and buy more storage facilities.
With the possible increase in profits, I will be able to buy a refrigerator in order to keep the fruits in utmost fresh conditions in order to minimize losses incurred due to hot and unfavorable weather conditions which deter the fruits’ quality. This will lead to a higher customer satisfaction thus enticing more customers.
With continuous and possibly steady growth in returns, I intend to expand my business outside my locality to increase diversification and ensure that I satisfy the growing needs of other customers outside my locality and at the same time maintaining the quality.
All this cannot be achieved without the financial support from this platform which to my knowledge offers loans at a lower interest rates and favorable terms and conditions.
