Welcome to Fresh Milk 'N Munchies, where good food meets the fast lane of life.

My Business

Our business operates within the agriculture sector, a cornerstone of the economy that encompasses crop cultivation, livestock rearing, agribusiness, and sustainable food production.

This sector's significance lies not only in providing food and raw materials but also in driving rural development and contributing to national GDPs.

To ensure the utmost freshness and quality of our raw materials, we have strategically chosen to procure our key ingredients from dairy farmers located in neighbouring counties, specifically Murang'a and Kiambu.
These regions are renowned for their thriving dairy industries and offer a rich source of fresh, high-quality raw milk.

Benefits of our local procurement:
Local procurement of raw materials holds several advantages for our business.
1). Firstly, it enables us to maintain a direct and transparent supply chain, allowing us to monitor the quality and source of our ingredients closely.
2). Secondly, supporting local dairy farmers contributes to the socioeconomic development of our community.
3). By partnering with neighbouring counties, we contribute to regional economic growth and sustainability.
4). Moreover, our local procurement strategy minimizes transportation costs and reduces the carbon footprint associated with long-distance transportation.

Source of income comes from my fulltime employment as a Software engineer. I seek funds to expand and create more opportunities for the young unemployed.

Project Proposal

I am excited about the potential growth opportunities for our dairy and sausage business.
The requested funding will play a pivotal role in helping us expand our reach, increase production, and enhance our market presence.

Here is a breakdown on how the funds will be used :
Ksh 4,000 will go towards restocking 40litres of yoghurt approx. Kes 700 per 5litre, and add 2 packs of raw sausage at Ksh 600 per pack.

Total Yoghurt + Mala Stock = Kes 5600.00
Total Raw sausages = Kes 1200.00

Total youghurt in ml 40,000 milliliter purchased at Kes 5600.00
Total sausages 24 pieces purchased at Kes 1200.00

1 glass of 250ml sold at Kes 80
1 sausage piece at Kes 60

Revenue from selling yogurt:
Number of 250ml glasses in 40,000ml = 40,000ml / 250ml/glass = 160 glasses
Revenue from yogurt = 160 glasses * Kes 80/glass = Kes 12,800.00

Revenue from selling sausages:
Revenue from sausages = 24 sausages * Kes 60/sausage = Kes 1,440.00

Total revenue:
Total revenue = Revenue from yogurt + Revenue from sausages
Total revenue = Kes 12,800.00 + Kes 1,440.00 = Kes 14,240.00

Total COGS = Cost of yogurt + Cost of sausages
Total COGS = Kes 5,600.00 + Kes 1,200.00 = Kes 6,800.00

I will make a profit of:
Profit = Total revenue - Total COGS
Profit = Kes 14,240.00 - Kes 6,800.00 = Kes 7,440.00
