About Me

My full names are Sarah chemtai Naibei. i am a counselling psychologist by profession. i am employed at the moi teaching and referal hospital. i hold a bacholers degree in counselling psychology from the university of nairobi.i started a horticulture small business arly last year.i got a small portion of land and some seeds where grow cucumbers,cabbages,green chillis,and i also keep bees for honey.
i would like my children to be succesfull citizens when they come of age
my hobby is volunteering.

My Business

My business entails selling of fresh horticulture and farm products in eldoret town
.eldoret is a good farming town whereby i supply my products to schools,and an army barracks outside eldoret town,called moi barracks. i chose this kind of business because food will always be in high demand.my typical cost is 10,000 to 20000 for supplies.5000/- for transport,5000/- miscelenous,5000 for pest controll.
i use my profits to expand my business

Loan Proposal

With the loan funded,i am planning to purchase 6 sacks of organic fertilisers,
The organic fertilizer will be used in my greenshouse.they will be used on
kales,spinach,cucumbers and capsicums.

i prefer organic fertilizer because it will improve the soil structure in my greenhouse and farm. they also
- release their nutrients more slowly in the soil, when the plants need them, so they last longer.
-nutrients are contained in complex molecules that won’t leach away with the first rain.
-They are less likely to burn the young roots of seedlings. Synthetic fertilizers are made from mineral salts that can kill roots as well as soil microbes if applied improperly.
-They enhance soil health by nurturing (or at least not harming) the soil microbes that help make soil nutrients available to plants.
one sack will cost $6 us dollars.hence 6 sacks will cost $36 USD.

I expect an increase in profits as organic produce fetch a good price at the market.
many people prefer the organic produce.
