About Me

I live with my family in Nakuru - Ngata whereby am the second born in the family of eight people. Both of my parents work ,my mother is a business woman who deals with hotel business and saw mills, my father is an IT teacher at St.Andrews school Molo. My elder sister is working as a nurse at valley hospital Nakuru while all my other siblings are still studying at different levels. I studied Electrical Engineering at Kenya polytechnic Diploma level and am currently working at Menengai Oil refineries Limited Nakuru. I also own a Dairy shop at Kaptembwo Estate in Nakuru and a butchery that i recently opened in Mogotio town. the money i get from my job and businesses is used to pay for my school fees since am carrying out a part time class at Egerton university, and i also pay for my two siblings school fees.

My Business

I run a Dairy shop and butchery businesses which are doing quite fine at the moment. This are all my personal businesses and am intending to expand them so as to serve the wider market. The dairy is situated in a place where it is highly populated with low income earners and having the opportunity to place the shop there has really helped them allot since i do sell them milk according to their wages thus making me to be the sole seller seller around that area since other dairy shops are located on far locations. people also like the milk since it is not diluted and always comes fresh to them. On the other hand the butchery is also picking up well having the fact that its only two months old. The location of the business is in a perfect place place since it is located at stage where matatus touts, drivers and also their passengers can always pop in for roast meat,fried and also soup. The butchery faces a grate risk of meat giving out bad smell when the sales of the day don't go well and we end up having some meat remaining for the other day. this call for urgent action to buy a size-able fridge that will maintain the meat in a healthy manner. Customers do prefer my butchery since it provides healthy foods and also the service given by the employees is commendable by many. I also do weigh meat in portions that favor both the high and low income earners.
Apart from that ,the dairy shop also need a bigger fridge for storage of milk since the one am having is no big enough to accommodate the demand. The dairy also falls at risk of running short of milk at times since my supplier comes from very far and at times gets in late a thing that makes me to disappoint my customers at times. My future plans are to buy a motorbike that will enable me to supply the milk myself by hiring someone. Both the two business are profitable since they both give me a total income profit of around forty thousand a month. The loan i will get from Zidisha is intended to be invested in the two businesses in making sure that expansion takes place in due time. The income got from both businesses will also be used to repay the loans that i will be receiving from zidisha.

Loan Proposal

I need to buy a refrigerator that will be used in my newly opened dairy shop and also furniture to furnish my butchery. The dairy shop needs the fridge so as to enable good and healthy storage of milk that is sold to the customers. At the moment am using big storage tanks that is not hygienic at times since the the milk end up getting bad when total selling is not met.
The butchery also need expansion since most of the customers demand that they should have their food prepared there. Most of the buyers in that area are matatu owners and touts, so it will be convenient enough for them to have their meals there.
lenders should support my projects since all of them offer services directly to the common citizens living within the location of the business and also to esteemed community around. My services are affordable to many and i also offer quality products to the people considering also the hygiene of my customers. The whole project will be in need of 1708USD. i would request all willing lenders to try and help in making me achieve this goal.
