My name is Isaac Marube and am 50 years old. Iam married with two lovely children and they are all in the university. I schooled in Kisii my birth place and thereafter joined secondary school outside my home town. Later i joined the University of Nairobi for a degree in business management. Through out i was inspired by my parents who told me that the key to success is hard work and determination. This in essence made it possible for me to overcome my challenges. I decided to start start this business after early retirement. I decided to retire early due to personal reasons and i wanted to be free to run my own enterprise. My children wants to become engineers after university and this has given me the morale to work even harder so that they can eventually realize their dreams.
My business revolves around distribution of all office stationary and equipments. This goods and services are in demand from schools to government/private institutions since everywhere its about documentation. This is what i do with a lot of passion and its what i know best. Its marketable in all seasons. My typical costs and revenues ranges from Kshs.50,000 to Kshs. 150,000. What i do is that i pay myself a basic salary from this business which goes a long way in catering for the basic needs such as rent, food, school fees and the rest of the money is saved for future re-investment and business growth.
I will purchase a three in one photocopy machine which will assist me in doing more work within my business center. I will purchase this machine from wholesalers and hence start off the new year with more machines. This will also assist in getting more copy services to my many clients who have a lot of work to be done.
