About Me

I am a young man aged 28years old from Mitimingi whose hobby is watching movies . I was brought up in a humble home and used to walk to school in the thicket together with my elder sister for about 16 kilometres daily.
I have since acquired a diploma in clinical medicine and surgery and am currently in 3rd year in Egerton university pursuing a degree on the same.
After being employed on locum basis and with the desire to help I realized I had to start my own clinic on may 2015 in Mitimingi which would set a basis for starting a charitable organization which is still my dream.
with Zidisha loan I will be able to buy more drugs for my clinic and this will increase my profits.

My Business

I provide clinical services which include consultation, treatment and counselling. this services are very essential in this area as an alternative where the main hospital is 45km away and emergency cases need to be stabilised first before referral especially at night and over the weekends and when the government dispensary is out of drugs or not in operation.
my costs are the house rent and purchasing of drugs. I have been using my profits mainly on paying my own school fees and also reinvesting by buying some logistics. my revenue is from treatment charges.

Loan Proposal

I heard of Zidisha loan from a friend whom I had to visit at his work place to believe about the story he was telling me. I realized that Zidisha loan is not only helpful but its propelling businesses to great heights. With my financial challenges I decided to join this wonderful Zidisha community which in deed is my hope for prosperity and a great foundation.
I will use the loan to purchase a ridge for my clinic. The fridge will cost about USD 212.5 for I have managed to save with difficulties USD 100. These will assist me in the storage of vaccines like the tetanus toxoid and antirabies vaccine and also the storage of insulin. This will subsequently improve my profits, services and the health of the community.
The service is in high demand because of the high number of dog bites where the vaccine must be ordered from the main pharmacy in town on the day of administration due to lack of storage facilities leading to missed doses and poor compliance. The storage of the insulin will also be helpful since the patients around can have a good storage at a small fee without the need to worry whether the drug is still potent. The tetanus toxoid is also in demand especially due to the farmyard injuries sustained especially during the weekends and timely administration is essential.
Your support will be highly appreciated as I move forward.
