Loan Proposal

having completed the construction of the structure,am now seeking funds to purchase day old chicks.
With the loan amount,I will purchase 100 broiler day old chicks which mature in an average of 5 weeks for resale to consumers.
A chick goes for an average of Ksh60 thus an amount of 6,000.00 will be sufficient.
I will top up the balance with my savings to amount to 20,000.00.
This will be used to purchase chicken feed and vaccines.
Upon maturity,the chicken will be sold to a distributor who has already been identified at a retail price of 300Ksh per kg.
At 5 weeks the chicken weigh between 1.5 and 2kg if well fed.
Assuming a mortality rate of 15%,i will hence sell 85 chicken.
sales proceeds will amount to 38,250Ksh hence making a net return of 12,250.Ksh
I will undertake the project myself so will not need a farm hand.
