I am Erenesty Aduda of National Identity Card No. 7849338, I am a Kenyan citizen aged 51 years old. I was born in a rural village of Usare in Kasgunga Ward of Homa Bay County. I was the 1st born among 5 siblings. I was the only son. My father was a fisherman and my mother was a fisherfolk. I grew up in hardship, being the 1st born, I had to help my parents bring up my followers as I was always involved in domestic chores and cleaning dishes.
I joined Mbita Primary School and completed my primary education in 1982. Upon completion of my primary education, I did not have the chance to proceed to high school and therefore opted to venture into fishing and small scale farming. These economic activities helped me to improve my living standard and provide for my family. In the community that I live in, women are not meant to be the sole provider but men are tasked with the responsibility of caring for the family.
I have 5 children and my 1st born daughter is married. My 2nd born daughter is in high school and my last born son is in grade 2. I am doing tree seedlings farming as a source of livelihood for my family. In my free time, I do actively participate in community environmental conservation.
I am engaged in small-scale, portable hand irrigated, commercial tree seedlings farm business which has been in operation for 5 years. I am supplying fast growing and drought resistant tree seedlings to schools, local institutions and individual farmers. There's a high demand for fruit tree seedlings and am planning to expand the business to enable me meet the ever growing fruits seedlings demand.
I look forward to repaying the loan in time. I want to build a capital for my business out of non-interest loans provided by ZIDISHA lenders. With the loan of KES 9,952, I will be able buy more fruits plants for preparation for re-sale purposes. I am happy that you are the best platform for me and my business. The improved income will be used to pay school fee for my daughters and food.
I am requesting for a loan of KES 9,952 to enable me buy 2 wheelbarrow2, 2 Watercans and assorted trees and fruits seedlings. Mbita region normally experience good rains in September - Novemberand many people do buy tree seedlings for planting in their homes during the rainy season. This is an opportunity that I want to capitalize on and get a good return for my farm products. Many people are asking me about the fruits seedlings and I am now going to supply them on a sustainable if I get a ZIDISHA loan.
I am happy that I am now part of ZIDISHA community. Thanks a million to ZIDISHA Lenders for having chosen my business proposal. I look forward to repaying the loan on time as agreed upon and accessing more funds in future for farm expansion.
