About Me

My name is Ibrahim Munga Nyawa. I am married to Neno Luvuno and we are blessed with four children, three girls and one boy namely:- Juliana, Monica, Irene and Aristotles. My wife operates a vegetable grocery while I am working with and a Regional Development Agency as a horticulturist in Mombasa. I also work as a Pastor with Pentecostal Evangelical Fellowship of Africa (PEFA) Ministry at a place called Dzombo which is 3 kms from my homestead. My daughters - Juliana and Monica who are in Std 4 and 2 respectively would like to become Doctors when they grow up while Irene would like to become a teacher.

My Business

My business is on transportation. I own 3 bodabodas (motorcycles) with two operating at Mwanguda and one in Malindi. I chose this kind of business because there is a big demand for bodabodas in those areas and a guaranteed daily income. The motorcycles are run by young men on daily basis with each of them bringing $4.4 per day which is equivalent to Kshs.400/=. For the three motorcyles, I get a total amount of $80 equivalent to Kshs.7,200/= per week. The money is collected on weekly basis (Sundays). Sundays is a resting day and also for minor services. The profits I get from this business are spent on purchase of fuel for commercial purposes and also expanding the vegetable grocery for my wife.
Thank you Zidisha for giving me this opportunity to be a member. God bless the Zidisha team and the lenders.

Loan Proposal

When I get this loan,I will purchase fuel (petrol) for my bodabodas (motorcyles) and also for commercial purposes. The weekly fuel demands in the area is 300 litres with each litre selling at Kshs.105 ($1.17) and so per week, the fuel costs is Kshs.31,500/= which is equivalent to $350. The buying price of the fuel is Kshs.90 ($1). The profit I get per week is Kshs.4,500 which is equivalent to $50. Other motorcylces owners will be accessing fuel at reasonable prices in the area.

This is how my profit will increase - Kshs.7,200 ($80) (bodabodas), fuel sales per week Kshs.4,500 ($50) totalling to Kshs.11,,700 ($130) per week. Lenders, kindly support me achieve my dream of expanding my business and God will bless you. Thank you Zidisha
