About Me

My Name is Diana. I was born second in a family of five, four girls and one boy. I studied Business Management and Insurance in College after high school, and a few accounting packages. I live in Nairobi the capital city of Kenya, Embakasi constituency.l sell Insurance products and also do business. ( I sell clothes,handbags and beddings ) I started the business because i felt the income from insurance was not enough to cater for my expenses and development.I use the earnings i get from my business to buy more stock so that i can expand the business and supplement the other income.I want to start selling jewellery in addition to clothes, my customers have shown much interest in them.
My hobbies are reading,listening to gospel music and travelling.
During my free time i also like visiting the elderly and orphaned children.

My Business

My business is mainly for selling clothes,handbags and beddings that i currently get from Uganda, and other countries. There is alot of demand in the city for the clothes and beddings in the city since its highly populated. Customers prefer my goods because i provide high quality products at a fair price. I also provide to them personalized services since i deliver them to their offices and homes. I intend to use the loan to increase my stock and to grow the business.However since my credit limit is small for the first time i will buy jewellery since the cost of purchase is not high and sell them. The business is profitable because i dont incur expenses on rent or salary to employees..I spend approximately 11.76 Us Dollars to purchase one item,transport US Dollars 95.00 then i sell one item at 20US Dollars to 29.50US Dollars depending on the customer location. In a month i sell 30 to 50 items.I used the first loan to buy jewellery which i sold to my existing clients.

Loan Proposal

I intend to use the loan to purchase jewellery in wholesale locally and sell it in retail.
I have several customers who have shown great interest in jewellery to match the handbags and clothes that i sell to them.I believe i will grow gradually on that line and with time when i get more capital i buy more clothe,handbags and Duvet covers open a shop and eventually concetrate on business fully.
