About Me

my names are Karugo mbuguah, i am the last born in a family of 4: having undertaken my education upto the tertiary level. however i have been unsuccessful in securing a job; but i never gave up and ventured into agribusiness and began rearing chicken at my parents' homestead; they have been a steady source of income and have enabled me afford my upkeep and support my parents.
on weekends i attend youth programmes that i am a volunteer member of and we undertake social responsibility initiatives in the community where we live thus making it a better place.
i love farming and would love to one day own a ranch; where i can practise arable farming at a large scale

My Business

I started my agr i- business venture in august 2014 having raised my start-up capital from saving i made doing odd jobs and i raise my income by selling fertilized eggs to other farmers as well as young chickens to them to enable them improve their breeds thus raising revenue.
i keep indigenous free -range chicken commonly referred to as "kienyeji". The climatic conditions in my hometown are very conducive for chicken rearing hence an added advantage.
i started with one cock whom i nicknamed Adam and 5 hens; but over the years the number has increase to 50 chickens.the business venture has financed my upkeep as well as financed my tuition fees while pursuing a professional course in animal husbandry at a local polytecnic
