My Business

I do poultry farming where i mainly do layers And also keep chicks to a certain level and sell them to keep a constant number of layers because of limited resources i have. This kind of business is on demand because my home is not far from eldoret town and really growing so hotels are in demand of eggs and also locals are in need of grown chicks for rearing. I have 20 layers laying 15-18 eggs a day and an egg goes for $0.10 returning $1.5 aday and $45 amonth. I also have 50 3weeks old chicks that i will sell them after 2 months at $2 each making it $100. i later end up with arevenue of $30 a month.i later use my profits in reinvesting into my business and for my daughter's upkeep.

Loan Proposal

i intend to use this loan to purchase layers feed for my chinken.i will buy two bags of layers that is 140kgs coasting $72 and also purchase trays to keep and transport the eggs.the trays cost $15 and the remaining amount will use it to vaccinate my chicken against diseases and against any upcoming emergencies.this will increase the number of chickens laying by 50%.will later use my profits in improving my business and upkeep for my daughter.
