About Me
My names is Bedan Mungai Karanja a father of two twin girls,born and raised in Olkalou, Nyandarua county,i live in Makongeni phase 13 plot 10. Am an active and hardworking man, i finished my high school year 2004 where i didn't join college due to financial problems, this was as a results of my parents being jobless. I started assisting my parents in farming which was the major activity by then ,i would go to my neighbours farm and ask for casual labour where by the little money i got i would give some to my parents to buy food and also to pay school fees for my little sibblings.
Am usually working harder day and night to make sure my children won't suffer the way i suffered and to make sure their schooling becomes easy and affordable up to university. I would like my children to become prominent and vital people in our village and the country atlarge and also to change life for others.
During my leisure time i like visiting the most needy people like the orphans and the physically challenged whereby i encourage them about being positive in life.
My Business
After finishing my high school, i started farming where i would go and look for labour whereby the available job was to cultivate land for planting maize or fetching water for sale, i chose fetching water for sale with a donkey cart whereby in a day i would earn myself atleast ksh 400, with my little savings for a while i managed to relocte to Thika where i started a small beauty shop, since in Thika the population is high and also there are many colleges and beauty products are on high demand, i have many customers who like coming at my place due to my good service and affordable prices.Currently am doing well and atleast am able to get some profits which i use for my children upbringing and also growth of business and not forgeting investing for my children education in future.
Loan Proposal
My esteemed lenders if am funded these money i will use my loan to purchase more products like weaves, necklaces, human hair, perfumes and sprays,curtex, chains , lotions,which will cost me approximately USD145 and the rest will cater for my transport. If funded i will be very glad and appreciative.
