I am the last of 4 children. Being the only family in the city my parents had to help all their relatives coming to the city do resources were always scarce. In school an interest in agriculture developed do I joined the 4k club to know how to grow crops and keep animals.our holiday a were spent up country with our grand parents further fuelling the hobby.
As I grew up I attended a farm visit that rekindled my interest. Soon I ventured into spinach nurseries this helped out not only feed my family but also the excess is sold to my neighbours. The money is useful not only in adding the variety of vegetables grown but also to educate my family. Now that the demand has increased I would like to buy inputs in a bigger quantity so that I can maximise on farming and invest in an irrigation system to water a larger area.
I would like to purchase the following:
-Nursery trays 10@150/-1500
-Potting medium50kg@ 3250

-DAP1200

Foliar feeds1200
Labour 2 pax2000

This project will help me create employment as well as some of the proceeds will allow me to invest in an irrigation kit for 23000kshs to irrigate more plants on less time.
