Hallo to you all.My names are John Kiruki wachira.Born and brought up in Karunga,Bahati settlement scheme.Later in my early schildhoodI joined Karunga Primary school until I did my Primary school Certificate examination, where I got a total of 328 marks.
Since I had performewd well for the minimum marks required for one to join high school,I was opted to join Menengai High school in Nakuru town where i completed my form 4 certificate and attained a mean grade C+.
Now that my other sisters and brothers where still behind me in their learing, this made me to stop at the fourth class, thus making my parents a financial burden to take me to the college for my tertiary learning.i had no other alternative rather than looking for manual jobs back in the village.Thank you that I got one for looking after the livestock and feeding the poultry for my boss.
This made to work hard and also saving the liitle penny i have been paid for my future progress. In the early 2011,I quit the job for mine and relocated to Ndege farm,Lanet where i am currently doing my own farming business for profit.Thank you
As I have described above I started doing farming as a means of my daily income for my family. This was made possible from the savings i had from the previous employment, making me to buy a calf and some few chicken for eggs.
After like a year's time, the immediate neighbour came and adviced me to sell the nine months calf that i had and buy a good breed of cow which can sustain the demand of fresh milk.I did sell the small calf and bought a Gersey breed of cow, milking a total of 35 litres of milk everyday.
Now that i have potential and reliable customers who they normally come for the fresh milk everyday at my homestead,I am praying that, the Zidisha Microfinance will assist me in purchasing a 70 kg dairy meal, which is somehow expensive for me to buy for now and the 5 kgs coopers licking salt for the cow.I believe that once i purchase the quality feeds and the licking salt,my cow will have a potential to add an extra more 10 litres of milk per day, thus meeting the ever growing demand of fresh milk to my customers.I also believe that I have the potential to satisfy my daily customers with all their daily new orders.
It is my humble & kind prayer that you will support my farming business to expand.Thank you in advance for your king and generous support towards my project.God bless you all
