About Me

I am an M&E Data Management specialist and a full-stack developer with considerable experience supporting the development of Information Management systems, particularly in supporting Research, Monitoring and Evaluation processes for Private, Governmental and Humanitarian activities.

I have led the conceptualisation of several Information Management (IM) tools supporting different projects - Health & Nutrition, Resilience programming, Financial Inclusion, Education, Public Health, Emergency and Recovery Response - in pre and post-conflict contexts.

I am passionate about using my skillsets and leveraging technology to improve programming in the humanitarian sector in that innovations are in place to ensure interventions reach the most vulnerable and marginalised communities/populations.

My Business

I provide consultancy services to small NGOs in Kenya, by building Information Management Systems.
I am currently building a beneficiary management system to aid entrepreneurs, specifically farmers track training on best business practices. I am still in the inception stage - understanding the user requirements.

Project Proposal

The funds will be used in the purchase of printing papers for my proposal.

I have been involved in Community and Household surveillance, Nutrition surveillance and longitudinal Impact monitoring
and Evaluation, most recently measuring the impact of COVID-19 in the forty-seven BRCiS communities where long-term cash distribution and community
resilience programmes are implemented. The monitoring system uses a convenience sample of the households covered by the BRCiS Safety Net pilot
project. Data is collected on the prevalence of COVID-19 symptoms, impacts on food security, how cash transfers are used, the death of household
members, and key indicators of preventative behaviour and attitudes towards vaccination. Deaths are being monitored to determine the impact of the
pandemic on the number of productive household members and the need for any additional support. My role in the study is to develop and maintain a
longitudinal database to track mortality, develop M & E toolkit, and provide data management support and ODK form authoring.
Lastly, I have experience supporting Livelihood assessments and Household Economic Analysis by developing required tools, data structures, and BI
    analysis platforms.
