About Me

I am a 23 year old student entrepreneur. Being a software developer i have come in contact with various products and services. The few last project that i have been involved in have been agricultural and I developed a keen interest in Rabbit Farming. The wide extent of consultations for the last 1 year has provided the necessary know how, skills and connections to fully participate in the industry comfortably. Your funding will be of fundamental importance to the success of this venture.

My Business

I am am a software developer and consultant at Muts Technologies in Kenya. I have been able interact with various clients in the agricultural sector who have revived my passion for agriculture. The demand for white meat is quickly increasing and the global demand has not yet been satisfied. I have ventured into the Rabbit farming business and its growing well.

Loan Proposal

With this loan, i will buy two rabbits (a buck and a doe) for raring. I have already done rabbit farming at a small scale with local breeds. However, the local breeds are not commercially viable due to low quality meat. The global demand for rabbit meat, urine (for use as an insecticide) and skin is quickly rising and the production rate cannot satisfy the demand. This is a profitable venture with a 98% success rate.

with my last loan, 12 youth have been enrolled to the rabbit farming business. They have also enrolled to the Zidisha program to finance their projects. At this rate, the youth will be involved in income generating activities to sustain their lives ad reduce the crime rate in the area. Thanks to all the funders.
