Hello, my name is Clarence and I reside in Nairobi Kenya. I have been in the hospitality industry for the last 5 years. I have been a server during this period. However I lost my job just recently and as such I need to find a way to survive and pay my bills.
I am passionate about pastry and baking as well as coffee. My dream has been to run my own bakery and coffee shop and what better time than the present.
I have a little savings that I plan to invest in the business. I want to start small for the bakery before I expand. I plan to buy equipment ranging from the baking tins to a charcoal oven. I have already identified my market and I just need to start. If approved I plan to start as early as November. Initially I will bake in the house before getting a physical location to rent.
I plan to buy a small baking oven to begin my business with. The oven amounts to 60$ and having one will be a big step in me starting my baking business. I will be creating quality products to sell to the market. Since it is the beginning I will carefully monitor expenses and try to maintain a profit margin for the first three months.
