My name is Peter Ngige Ngugi a cool guy/gentle and a Kenya by birth; currently working with Rift Valley Railways in the Supply Chain Department as a planner. I pursue Bachelor of Commerce and certified public accounting at the Technical University of Kenya.
My parents are Joseph Ngugi Murua and Tabitha Njoki Ngugi. My best friends are Miriam Nanyama Situma, David Wachuka Kuria and Ferdinand Mlati Chikira. I’m currently residing at Ruaka town, Kiambu County; Kenya.
I was born in a family of six; Grace Njoki, Peter Lemaron, Winfred Njeri, Jane Wanjiku, Ezra Mbeti and Mercy Wanjiku. I was born and brought up in Loitoktok Kikelelwa Village, kajiado County In Kenya. Technology. My hobbies include travelling, watching television and playing football.
I was brought up in a passionately entrepreneurial family and this gave me a love for business, we used to reside in a border (Kenya/Tanzania) town, this therefore gave my parents an opportunity to trade. They basically traded in Cereals and timber but currently they are trading in Sugar and Jagger y.
Growing up in a rural area was not easy; the opportunities thereby and the level of awareness of issues was low due to communication challenges. I otherwise managed to keep myself updated with the trends by reading magazines that even though had been by-passed by time.
My younger sister; Grace would wish to be a hotelier when she grows up. Mercy would wish to be a quantity surveyor while Ezra would wish to be an entrepreneur like me
My vision is to be a holistic individual who is equipped to transform the society.. I therefore work very hard to balance between my academics, social life, spiritual life and my physic. I therefore have to ensure that I have used my time prudently so as to make sure all this spheres of life are balanced
Business Name: Murua Trolleys.
Owner Peter Ngige Ngugi
Location: Nairobi Kenya
Business Opportunity
Murua is a swahili name for good and satisfactory.
Murua Trolleys was established after observing a challenge in passengers and travelers while transporting their luggage from one stage to another across the city.
Business Description
Murua Trolleys is a small scale transport business. The firm deals with transportation of luggage for customers around town
Operational Plan
Murua Trolleys is evolved in purchasing hand push/ pull trolleys then renting out the trolleys to its clients who are majorly the idler guys in the city. The firm buys the trolley at Ksh 5000 at Kariobangi South Jua Kali market then rents out the trolley at 200/- per 14hrs. The leases will then be required to bring back the trolley latest 9.00Pm.
Our clients will therefore be the lease. The lease will then use the trolley to carry goods from one place to another they will thence charge the customers between Ksh 50 and 100 Sh. In Essence the lease can raise 200 In the first hour of operation and this therefore means all of the rest of their income is theirs. This form of engagement in fair to both the client and me the proprietor since with an income from 200/- per day per trolley means I can be able to realize my investment in less than two Months. The trolleys are returned at my place at my place at 9.00Pm
OPPORTUNITIES
Focusing into the everyday growth on Nairobi City gives me a hope that MURUA TROLLEYS shall expand each day. I will also seek to invest the suburbs of Nairobi such as Gikomba, Githurai and Ruaka
Merits accrued from the operation
It is way of giving back to the society as I’m able to engage the’ idle’ and the less fortunate (i.e. financially) they can therefore earn their income and therefore improvement in their livelihood,
I’m able to make my daily living and therefore support my family.
I would request lenders to support me in this project. I suppose that the project
HI Lenders,
this is first to appreciate you for the support so far.
Business has not been very good in the recent past but trusting all will be well in the next couple of months.
I hereby place my application for a loan worth 8970. This is to boost the business by buying two additional trolleys.
I have now employed 20 employees and I hope two have two more for the new trolleys I will purchase.
As at now a trolley goes for approximately Kes 10000. The leasing/renting rate per day is Kes 300(for six days). This means that the pay back period for the trolleys is approximately 35days assuming the trolley had been fully rented.
I will be glad to get your support.
Regards
Peter
