I am alenyan citizen aged 25 years living in nairobi,my home area is in kisumu county, seme constituency, kombewa sublocation,in riat location,i went to school in kombewa upto class eight then joined st.barnbas girls high school ,i went through the programme successfully and completed in the year 2008,i then joined the nairobi aviation college in nairobi for my diploma in information technology and successfully graduated in the year 2012,i then embarked on a job hunt both in public and private sectors but none was forthcoming, after along time of searching for a job,i then had an idea of registering a business that deals in clothings, shoes and various materials for making various dresses,i then went ahead and registered, with the help of my uncle whom i was staying with during my college days,he gave me some little money and it has since been my only source of livelihood,i have a daughter who is only six months old,so i still dont pay school fees though i save on monthly basis towards her future education,i would like my daughter to be a very distinguished businesswoman in kenya, during my free time i reading inspirational and motivational books
i started my business of selling clothes and shoes immediately i left the nairobi aviation college, when i looked for a white collar job for so many months but dint find,i then had some money from my uncle whom i use to stay with, i then bought some two bales of clothes containing clothes for both gender,i then sent it to my elder sister who stays in the village, that firs one did very well and i got the encouragement and pressed on to date, i have since grown and diversified into shoes and custom made material clothes,i chose clothing because people tend to buy clothes everyday this makes my goods be on demand plus my pricing is a bit low compared to the rest,on a good month i get approximately 20,000ksh equivalent of roughly 200 USD, i buy different bales at different prices, from 9,000ksh to 15,000ksh, after good sales in a whole month i get almost double what i use to purchase the bales,it is from this income that i intend to repay my loan without fail.
i intend to use this loan amount to increase the bales of clothes that i usually buy,i will top up with some savings and get two bales of clothes at approximately 22,000ksh in our local markets around,at kamukunji, gikomba and eastleigh, this will make me realise a profit of almost 14,000ksh in a mnth that is if i make good sales of the clothes, this will increase my monthly revenue hence positive growth
