i am from maragoli Vihiga county i am 26 years and a third born child in a family of six, four boys two girls. I went to chamakanga primary school and latter went to kakamega Town where i did my primary certificate at kakamega township in 2014. i joined sheywe secondary school and in 2008 did the kenya certificate of education. Since finishing secondary education i have trained as a tailor and i am currently engaging in agriculture producing vegetable to hotels and i also run a small grocery. I am blessed with two children who motivate me to work hard to ensure they get the best in life.
Since 2008 i have done several businesses including fish mongering, ice cream vendor and milk ventor however as time went by i realized vegetable were on high demand in the area and since their was available land at our place i ventured in to agriculture producing vegetables and selling to people. My grocery sales all types of vegetables onions and tomatoes pepper and other ingredients needed for preparing vegetables. Today i make an average sales of Ksh.1000 a day with which i can buy the other ingredients that i don't produce in my farm, pay for municipal revenue and for daily upkeep and pay for my children's school fees
I intend to purchase 50 day old improved kienyeji chicks which grow faster and they are high yielding one chick costs Ksh. 100 $1 so the cost of the 50 chicks is Ksh.5000 $50 then purchase one bag 50kg chick mash at Ksh.2500 $25 the remaining amount will go into my grocery business where i intend to buy more exotic vegetables for my grocery.
