i am from maragoli Vihiga county i am 26 years and a third born child in a family of six, four boys two girls. I went to chamakanga primary school and latter went to kakamega Town where i did my primary certificate at kakamega township in 2014. i joined sheywe secondary school and in 2008 did the kenya certificate of education. Since finishing secondary education i have trained as a tailor and i am currently engaging in agriculture producing vegetable to hotels and i also run a small grocery. I am blessed with two children who motivate me to work hard to ensure they get the best in life.
Since 2008 i have done several businesses including fish mongering, ice cream vendor and milk ventor however as time went by i realized vegetable were on high demand in the area and since their was available land at our place i ventured in to agriculture producing vegetables and selling to people. My grocery sales all types of vegetables onions and tomatoes pepper and other ingredients needed for preparing vegetables. Today i make an average sales of Ksh.1000 a day with which i can buy the other ingredients that i don't produce in my farm, pay for municipal revenue and for daily upkeep and pay for my children's school fees
I will make purchase of one sack Sukuma wiki (cale) at Ksh.1200 ($12), some cabbage heads onions and tomatoes i intend to use Ksh.3000 (30) for the total purchases the remaining amount will go into buying three ion sheets 2 meters Nails and four polls for constructing a shade for the grocery. Th e shade will enable me to sale during rainfall or hot sunshine it will also enable my vegetable to remain fresh for longer time as they will not be directly exposed to the sun.
