About Me

I grew up in a very hard condition on of life. I am a partial orphan and my father died when I was six year only! I grew up with my mother and uncles. My mother was unemployed and I had to come from school and go to the lake to look for fish so that I could sale some and take the rest home for cooking.

My uncles and brothers were totally against me ought to destroy me. Therefore I had to leave school and go to hiding in Tanzania, when I came back to Kenya in the year 2007, I found that they had sold my portion of land (inheritance). I therefore started farming in a leased piece of land adjacent to the lake, and after saving about Ksh 54,000 then I bought a land adjacent to the lake and that's where I have now established the farm.

My Business

I have been in small-scale farming since the year 2007. I am doing well and the clients have liked my farm is there's plenty of ready market for my farm produce. The profit from the farm will be use to meet education needs of my children in the school they are enrolled into.

My business is a sole-proprietorship farm and therefore I don incur any other costs apart from the budgeted amount of Ksh 8,034 that will be helpful to me. In future when the business expands then I will employee someone to ASSIST ME.

Loan Proposal

With the Ksh 3,534. I will be able to buy seeds and plant beans as this is the time for planting. With these fast-growing seeds, I anticipate a good harvest and increased income from the farm.

The farm in a fair capacity, will be able to sale a total of Ksh 1000 per day. With the loan, I will be able to expand the farm and plant high yielding plants like beans and tomatoes.

I have called David, and he re-assured me that he'll start remitting his weekly repayments early next month since he was still purchasing seedlings.
