About Me

My name is hellen edith mwangi,am married with a family or four children,two girls and two boys.Two of my children are in college and the other two primary school.i started the business to earn a living and to be able to cater for my family basics. I have been raised brought in mombasa county,i have seven siblings.Am married to Mwangi and we leave in Nairobi county in umoja .We started a business because what my husband was earning was not sustaining the family,and so we decide to started a butcher at kayole. That's paying school fee,and have a meal for the day.

My Business

We Irun a butcher at kayole. kayole is the neigh-ring estate of umoja. we have two workers who help us in the in in giving services.we sell all types of meats products,we do both raw and cooked and still do door to door services.customers prefer my business because of good services we offer,our premise are clean and the products are always fresh.Again our prices are fairly cheaper than our competitors. when the demand is low we face the risk of the products being stale eventually we dispose.our monthly prices are 40,000 and the profits 10,000 monthly.

I want to thank you for supporting in my first loan that really helped me alot my business. I got a freezer from a second hand shop which lessened my expenses and added a little profit than i had before.This has pushed my butchery to better lengths,and has created job opportunity to my fist born daughter who now runs the butcheries.My proposal for this loan is to start a tailoring shop for my self to add more income to take my grand children to school too. i would like to ask for another loan that i will use to venture into the pursuit of tailoring. i would like to pay the deposit of the rental shop for $ 125, to buy a sewingmachine for making uniform's, curtains $187, buying an overlock machine$187, paying of electricity, pay the tailor, buy materials, elastic's for clothes, button's, sewing threads, needles, zip for clothes and bags, buy a table designing, designing papers and chalks, tape measure and other small tools like scissors, pin's and tracing wheels all will be approximate $187. Also my training at the shop that will help students who want to learn, that will bring abit of income
