About Me

Selling is something that i really love to do, as a matter of fact since my childhood, I have engaged in selling on numerous occasions to support my family. When my mother opened her first commercial store in the heart of Kumasi central market, I was greatly pleased because it gave me the chance to do something significant during my leisure periods. My mother having noticed my profound interest in selling, began to teach me the best ways of maximizing profits from sales- such as beautiful presentation of items and good customers care. She also thought me moderate ways of pricing goods and dealing with suppliers. Within a space of less than two years, my mum's store has expanded in size and I have fully assume ownership of the store as my mum has retired from commercial trading. I hope to grow this business into a supermarket oneday and offer employment to other young people.

My Business

I would like to thank my lenders and zidisha as a whole for making my business a successful one. We began by selling items needed in daily household cooking such as oil, tomatoes, vegetables, cereals etc. These are items bought on daily basis for use in homes, and which means that there's always a ready market for such goods. When profits began to soar up, we introduced non-food items such as plates, bowls, cups etc. This business is good because apart from making daily sales, I am also able to contribute to the cooking in homes through these items I sell. My plan is to increase my stock of items and gradually turn my store into a supermarket where fashion items would be sold too. So when i was introduced to zidisha. org by a friend, i knew i could make my dream a reality with the help of zidisha. When I got my first loan from zidisha, I purchased the above mentioned item's more than I used to buy. I plough back the profit into the the business and business is booming for me. Second loan would be used in expanding my stall and state with whole sale as well.

Loan Proposal

The first loan will be used to purchase these items which are currently out of stock:

Rice-$45

Cooking oil-$20

Plastic Bowls-$30

The sales rate of the above items are very high, and that has been a good source of profits. The normal cost incur include electricity bills and other minor charges which are moderate. With funds from zidisha.org, I hope to expand my store into a supermarket in no time.
