I live in Kiptangwanyi shopping center which is approximately 42km from Nakuru town. Nakuru town is our nearest major town within this area. I am married with three children who are all in school. I live in my own plot at the shopping center where I carry out my business. I live in plot number 432 with my family. My business entails the service of welding and car general repair at the shopping center. The business is marketable as there is electricity which I use in most of my operations.

My business entails the service of welding and car general repair at the shopping center. The business is profitable since the nearest place where people can get these services is Nakuru and therefore it is more cheaper to obtain these services here as compared to traveling to Nakuru town. The main challenges that this business encounters are lack of enough capital to expand the business and fluctuating prices of fuel which adversely affects the the cost of electricity.

Loan Proposal

Dear lenders,
I am happy to be back again for borrowing a loan from Zidisha microfinance. I wish to use my loan to purchase a generator for power back up. My business which is mainly reliant on electricity is usually affected negatively by power supply interuptions. I usually get high losses due to the interuptions. I therefore would like to use the loan to buy the generator to
improve the power supply in my business.

    I am so grateful to Zidisha for the opportunity that I have gotten from them. I have been so happy with the progress in my business which I attribute to Zidisha being there in my life. I have been able to expand my business and therefore increased my revenues too. I wish to therefore clear my loan and hopefully apply for another one to improve my business.

    Dear Lenders,
    I wish to take this opportunity to thank you all for this far you have really helped me achieve much in my business through the loan that you have advanced to me. I wish to request to reschedule my loan as the business is not doing well. One of my major machine broke down and I am working to repair it. Therefore I am requesting to reduce my weekly repayment to 500ksh monthly. Thank you.

    Am grateful for such an opportunity. Am honoured to comment on the progress of my business. I was able to buy a new welding machine with the loan which has seen me improve efficiency and reduce the cost of running my business. I was also able to open a new display workshop for ready made welded items. Thanks for the continued support.
