About Me

My names are Rosemary Omboga born in Siaya county, Gem constituency in 1978.I'm the second born in a family of seven children.I did my kcpe in 1992 and went to Nyamira Girls Secondary school and later did kcse in 1996 .I passed and due to lack of school fees,I couldn't join higher college for further studies. I got married to my husband to date and God my creator blessed me with four children. The first child is in secondary school form four and would prefer to be a teacher, the second born is in secondary school form three and she would like to be a nurse, the third child would prefer to be a doctor and the last child would prefer to be a pilot. In Gembe West, Kasgunga East, there is always perennial rainfall which is suitable for farming of cash crops, cattle keeping and commercial activities. Due to increase of family members, with the little capital provided by my husband, I decided to start a retail shop for selling food stuff, commercial commodities and other items to get profit. During my free time, mostly Sundays, I goes to church, singing hymns, reading bible and educative books and magazines.

My Business

Opening and operating a retail shop began two years ago with the little capital. My husband couldn't provide for all basic needs, school fees and other requirements.Goods are bought in large quantities at a lower price and sold higher with the objective of making profit. During market days, there are good numbers of regular and irregular customers thus high sales of items. Profit got is used to purchase food, clothes, paying school fees for the children, settling business liabilities and household expenditure. The main aim is to educate children for the betterment of tomorrow.

Loan Proposal

Thanks so much for the registration and accepting my loan request.Due to starting with the small loan,it will be used to purchase packaging polythene materials for wrapping goods sold at a cost of KES 22.The profit obtained will be used to buy food, paying school fees, clothes for children and both parents, paying business expenses, providing adequate health services and buying other secondary needs for the family.I am expecting this retail shop business to increase by 50% thus gradual increase of business status, income and good living standard.
