Am Esther Nyaboke and a mother of one.I have gone through Jogoo Primary school,Kereri High School then Kabete Technical Training for Certificate in Agriculture. After college i couldn't find job because of my education level and yet my parents were not able to take me to university.Because of basic necessities i decided to start basic farming activities. Later on i could save some amount which helped me start medium scale farming .Now am a very successful farmer planting kales, maize, tomatoes and spinach which i supply to nearest markets.
I am a farmer both professionally and practically.I plant varieties of horticulture, maize, potatoes, spinach and many more.Farming is the backbone of my county and country at large since most consumer foodstuffs are from the farm and as food is a basic commodity. This kind of business has high demand throughout the year.I did chose this business since i couldn't secure employment and so i found farming to be the best choice. I use the profits to reinvest in my business and pay my child school fee.
Hopefully that i will be granted a loan , i intend to purcharse kales, tomatoes, spinach and other farm horticultural products to add on the existing stock for my supply business. This will greatly increase the production and consequently income production will also improve . 2 Sacks of Kales will cost like 20 dollars , i also intend to purchase Spinach with a cost of 5 dollars . in addition i, m planing to purchase 4 crates of tomatoes and add on the existing stock this will cost 25 dollars, also purchasing 3 sacks of onions at 8 dollars all this will go along side on improving my living standard of my family and my self, it will also create employment opportunity to the community to work on the farm and in turns their living standards will improve.
