About Me

I am George Amoako born and lived in ghana and also a mental health nurse. I was parented by a single uneducated mum who single handedly took care of me through school. During my school days, there were times i had to skip classes to purchase and sell second hand clothing's and to do miniature jobs to support my mum pay my fees hence the interest in retailing goods. This hustle equipped me with skills of marketing and retailing of which after school helped me start online retailing of goods and medical equipment. All this toil taught me perseverance and hardwork which has indeed being my hallmark in all my endeavour. Currently I am working hard to support my 3 sister as well us my mum as a reward and obligations to given them the best care as given to me by my mum. I believe with zidisha and lenders i will reach great height's and help support my sisters and mum.

My Business

I am a mental health nurse who is into medical equipment retailing to health centres and district hospitals. I took advantage of the urgent need of thermometer gun as a precautionary measures put inplace to prevent the wide spread of covid 19 in Ghana and with the help of zidisha and lenders I was able to meet the high demands of customers ,church's and health facilities. Due to the help from zidisha I have being able to open a shop where people come to purchase medical equipment. i earns 200 CEDI's minimum on each medical equipment I sell. In a week i sell medical equipment worth GH 3000. Being able to meet the demands from customers with the help of lenders and zidisha have led to development of trust and recommendations to friends and partners of customers .this have currently secured me a contract with 4 newly established private hospital who are requesting for medical equipments ( thermometer guns , blood pressure monitor , glucometers and gloves and nose mask) . All this was possible due to the help of lenders and zidisha.
