About Me
My name is Lewis Njoroge . I am an enthusiastic and compassionate individual with intent to realize objectives that I set out on. Am out-going and action-oriented to propel all that I set out on so that it eventually actualizes and synthesizes a desired dream that I have envisioned. Vision is my driving force which not only gets me going but bombasts my enthusiasm with that zeal to achieve the best and nothing but the best. I partly work and study at the same time. I have just graduate with a degree of Gender and Development Studies .I have had a keen passion on agri-business besides other business.
I started a business project because I want to become an employer. I want to provide an additional source of nutritive value to household and communities at large. I want to make available an option for households to rely on for their sources of income. Furthermore, I want to realize financial freedom and prowess.
My Business
I have embarked on personal businesses that I want to grow and focus on. One of the business projects is rabbit keeping. I have started keeping rabbits in small scale that I intend to expand into large scale. I keep the rabbits for their meat, fur, urine and waste. My plan is to export the rabbit products and also sell them locally when the right time and scale comes. I want to buy more rabbits to add to the current number and also invest more on the business project to ensure maximum returns on the investment.
Besides rabbits, am also keeping different poultry birds. I have embarked on Guinea fowl keeping, Turkey keeping, Duck keeping, Goose keeping and chicken keeping. I also keep sheep. When you lend me money, I will use it to expand all these projects to large scale for both local and over sea markets. I will also be able to acquire different breeds for my projects just to ensure that there is maximum returns on the investment. Also, it will enable me to provide the right feeds, medication and upkeep for the business projects.This is a booming opportunity as we have ready market in Kenya and abroad through help of Rabbit Breeders Association of Kenya – RABAK ... which is assisting us a lot.

My Business

I want to increase my production ,so far I have 15 rabbits that I intend to rare into a big business empire. Am not doing so bad as am able to raise and sell about 2 rabbits per month which brings an income of about Kshs. 1,500/=. Besides, am not able to meet all the demand. This is also due to the fact that I don’t want to sell many of them as I intend to rare many so as to be able to realize maximum returns later. However, I have expenses to incur per month which include:
1. Shamba boy – 7,000
2. Rabbit pellets and hay - 20,000
3. Healthcare – 9,000
So this adds up to 36,000 and the amount. So I wish you support me financially so that I can improve on my business. Thank you in advance .
I intend to use the Zidisha loan to expand my Rabbit project into a vast business empire and hence able to service both local and international customers that I have identified so far. This will enable me to achieve maximum returns on investment and subsequently able to access bigger loans on Zidisha in due course. In addition, it will enable me to offer employment to others too.
