About Me

Am a residence of Highpoint a town along Nairobi-Thika superhighway,am a second born in a family of three, having being brought up in a christian based family has made me acquire the christian virtues.
upon completion of my O levels I helped my mother in her beauty shop that she operates in our residence these also helped me become an independent lady and be business oriented since I assisted her in management.
Having gained interest in business I managed to save some cash from the beauty shop since I had developed and done a intensive research on rabbit rearing.

My Business

The fact is that rabbits are small-bodied animals that need little space and input. Also, they are very prolific and efficient converters of feed into meat. The meat is nutritious, high in protein, low in fat and cholesterol. They can also be raised for non-food purposes.
This revealed to me how rabbitry is an important enterprise in areas where there is shortage of agricultural land and for the unemployed youths who lack the critical production resources (land and capital). Rabbitry provides an excellent option to people who are conscious about dieting and are avoiding high fat / high cholesterol foods as much as possible.
The business therefore has a high market demand locally and has a very good returns. By rearing 20 rabbits, I will be able to register with a group known as Rabbit Republic in Kenya, which will ensure a close monitoring and consistent market. This will therefore translate to an average monthly income of ksh.10000.

Loan Proposal

HI Zidisha lenders having gained the proper skills in after having carried out an extensive research on rabbit rearing, with the proper funds I will be able to buy an average of 20 rabbits which will enable me to join Rabbit Republic which is a firm that offers dedicated persons close monitoring of the rabbits and a continuous market.
A young rabbit(kit) cost on average of ksh 500 thus 20 rabbits will translate ksh 10,000 upon maturing the rabbits sells at ksh 2000 depending on the weight.I will sell a few and breed the rest to ensure a continuous supply.Rabbits are easy to rear since they food is locally found and they mature with a short duration of time and upon breeding they multiply very fast.
I would very great to achieve this and have myself attain a stress free financial income.

    Hello Lenders,

I am Peris Njihia's Volunteer Mentor in Kenya and I spoke to her today. She has been facing some financial difficulties and her child was also sick and admitted in hospital. She was unaware that she can reschedule her repayment and will now apply for a reschedule plan that is easier to maintain.

    Dear zidisha,
i would like to take this chance to express myself due to delay in payments of my loan,I have been trying very much but I have been faced with certain challenges but the business is picking up well and i hope that all goes well.I managed to buy five international breeds which i mated with the local breeds that i have bought initially but due to presence of the heavy rains the kits died and i called upon the Rabbit Republic who advised to rebuild the house to prevent such cases thus I spent all the cash that i had saved but am hopeful that soon i will capture up and sort out the situation.
i regret the any inconveniences caused.
