My names are Kabilo Chemjor and i live in the wester province of kenya.I am a father of two children who are in high school.I started farming in the year 1982 when i was 20 years old after my father gave me a piece of land. Uniqueness of the people around me is that most of them are learned and are doctors and i wish my children to be the same.My hobby is playing loan tennis.
I am a very potential bana farmer as i have around 5 hactares of land filled with banana. I do sell bananas to the nearby fruits industry and also sell banana stalks to farmers especially this dry season. I decided to start banana farming as it requires verry little man power once it has been planted. Every month i typically spend around $150 and in return get profits of around $450 at end month. I use this profits to pay school fees and alson renovate my home
My last born son was admitted to Webuye district hospital on 15th last month after he was operated in the stomach due to growth and the hospital bill has now accumulated to around $2200.I wish to get zidisha funding which will help me pay part of the bill as he needs to be discharged then continue with his studies. When i settle the bill and he is discharged, my mind will relax then concentrate on busniness again.
