About Me

MY CHILDHOOD AND EDUCATION
i was born and brouht up in bomet county a village call kapsimbiri. i went to kapsimbiri primary school and later on st.marys gilrs high school in bomet. later on after on highschool i went to kenya institute of mass communication whereby i got a diploma in journalism and mass communication.
HOW I OVERCAME CHALLENGES
while growing up i was always having a dream of becoming a very competent laywey or a journalist. however this dream and ambition came with it's fair share of challenges. many people discouraged me that i was not going to make it that far. a few people in myvillage who had a chance to go beyond high school manage to become teachers after going teachers training colleges. my resilence and determination have seen me achieve the best thing that i have always yearned to be.
HOW I STARTED MY BUSINESS
Well after highschool, i could not secure a job immediately, therefore i began wandering around and going from office to office and almost all media houses. securing anternship was a hard task hence getting a job proved even more futile. i decided to d manual jobs. i became a waiter restaurant working for more than fifteen hours a day. after about six months i had saved about 200 US dollars. that helped me start an mpesa shop.
UNIQUENESS OF OUR LAND
our land is unique in many ways. we rear many farm animals, from cows, sheep, goats and even pigs. people from our land are kind, friendly and always there to help. we got milk and also many athletes comes from our place.
DREAMS OF OUR CHILDREN
Our children are motivated by many factors including those who have made it in education and many fields of life. they always want to be lawyers, journalists and doctors.
MY HOBBY
I love being with interesting people, reading novels and watching movies are best hobbies

My Business

GOODS ANDS SERVICES
I offer a number of services from money transfer, simcard replacements, sale of airtimes and digital decorders.
WHY MY SERVICES ARE IN DEMAND many people
My services are in great demand, money tranfer is one business that many people are running to. people are making money transaction daily. sim replacement also brings in many peole who want to have their simcards replaced for communication. with digital decorders many peole are now migrating froom analog transmission to digital transmission. therefore this is a good business which calls for more investment in to it.
WHY I CHOSE THIS BUSINESS
I chose this business as my niche due to it's returns and the profit it gives.
TYPICAL COSTS AND REVENUE
i always have to spend up to 1000 dollars in buying my stock and also ensuring that my mpesa float is always up to date.i also pay rent for my business premise and also pay electricity bills. this always cost up to a total of 200 dollars a month.
HOW I USE MY PROFIT
i normaly use my profit to pay rent, buy more goods for my stock and also help my siblings pay school fees.

Loan Proposal

I am planning to purchase more decorders to increase the number that i currently have.
I also want to purchase decoders from other channels zuku, dstv, startimes and others.
each of this will cost at least 50dollars and i plan to purchase 10 more. The money i will receive from zidisha will enable me add to what i have and so my business will efectively work.
