About Me

My name is Benjamin Kwesi Tosu and I come from Ho in the Volta Region of Ghana. I am a missionary and I'm currently the founder of Grace Castle Church in Team Community 1. Aside the clergy, I am also a graphic designer by profession. I am happily married with three lovely kids namely: Barry Brian and Perisseia. Barry is 13 years old and in Junior High School 2, Brian is 8 years old and in Primary 3, Perisseia is 6 years old and in Primary 1. We are currently residing at Team Community 4. I support my wife Serwah Tosu who is a manufacturer of ladies bags, shoes, necklaces, and wedding accessories.

My Business

I am also a graphic designer by profession. Aside this I have been supporting my wife Serwah Tosu who is a manufacturer of ladies bags, shoes, necklaces, and wedding accessories for the past 13 years. She also trains people especially the youth, in this same venture and this has brought some job opportunities to the youth in our neighbourhood and other parts of Accra as well as other Regions of Ghana. Some of the youth travel from Takoradi and Kumasi to Tema Community 4 to be trained in this venture. Some vocational school students also apply to work at" Perisseia Beads", that is her company name, when they are on attachments and also on vacations. She travels around Africa for trade shows bi-monthly. Hair dressers and other individuals across the country and also Africa purchase the products in bulk to sell. She has a vision of creating more employment avenues to the youth in Ghana at large and also outside Ghana with her profession.

Loan Proposal

I am a graphic designer by profession. I have been supporting my wife, Serwah Tosu who is a manufacturer of ladies bags, shoes, necklaces, and wedding accessories for the past 13 years. She also trains people especially the youth, in this same venture and it has brought some job opportunities to the youth in our neighbourhood and other parts of Accra as well as other Regions of Ghana. Some vocational school students also apply to work at" Perisseia Beads", that is her company name, when they are on attachments and also on vacations. She travels around Africa for trade shows bi-monthly. She has a vision of creating more employment avenues to the youth in Ghana at large and also outside Ghana with her profession. I need this loan to meet up the demands in buying more materials for the manufacturing of these products. This will enable my wife to employ more hands and put food on other people's tables. She is already getting more youth who are interested in this venture and she would need more materials for training and also production. I will be very grateful if Zidisha would grant this loan. Thank you

Hi Ben :-) I was wondering if you'd mind checking in on Cynthia & Hagar if you get chance? Neither of them have made payments since October, and they don't have a volunteer mentor to help them out, poor things.... Thought you or Juliet might be able to see if they're ok :-)

Hope everything has been going well up your end.
All the best, Emma from Australia.

I would like to readjust my installment rate because I have travelled out of Accra to a village in the Volta region and getting access to mobile money is very difficult. I would be back to Accra in some couple of weeks time and because I donnot want to default in my payment I would to rather readjust to still create the trust between me and lenders. Thank you.

    Dear Lenders,
We are most grateful for your help in funding my loan. It will go a long way in the expansion of my wife's business and also train and employ one or two more people.
It will also help to add some new products to her already existing product line.
Once again, we appreciate your help.
