My names are Mary Wambui from the central part of Kenya I was born in the year 1990 . I started school in the year 1993 and after my primary certificate I joined kabete high school with the help of my pastor. My single mother could not raise the fees and my step dad was against my joining high school. After high school my step dad warned the pastor to stop sponsoring me and with so many treats I had to move out. I travelled to nairobi were I met a friend who was working in a boutique. I was also employed to work in that boutique. After some two years I was able to Start a small kiosk selling second hand clothes. After two years I started going to other towns selling clothes at whole sell price.
After seeing business was good in kakamega I decided to relocate. But after some years I discovered a new opportunity in motorbike spares. Spares
I sell motorbike spares which gives me a profit of upto 60% am able to raise 6000 kes profit every week. At the same time I do repair myself and most people find it very funny for a lady doing that kind of work I decided to do this business because most people in this town use motorbikes as a means of transport because it's cheap and convenient.
From the profits I make am able to pay fees for my siblings who are in high school I would like them to reach their goals and not like me though I count myself lucky
If my loan is approved I will be able to buy a small refrigerator to help me sell water to my clients. The refrigerator I have spotted my friend selling will be of much benefit to me because most people around the garage dont afford to buy the bottled water so I boil water and pack in small bags(nylon)
The refrigerator is going at $90 .
I expect to get a profit of upto 70% from that.
