Am Antony K.K, a first born in a family of two siblings. My little brother who is an inspiration to my course of being a successful example in life and both of my wonderful loving parents. Currently i am an Information Technology graduate from the Jomo Kenyatta university of Agriculture and Technology a public institution established by the Japanese in the year 1980. I do admire and enjoy getting involved in technology advances or innovations which are playing a big role in digitizing these great nation of Kenya . I currently reside in Juja township alongside the Thika Superhighway. It is where i am currently holding a photocopying business of which i own a photocopier machine outside a chips grill a few meters from the campus entrance gates.
I use the photocopier machine to make copies for my fellow students who need hard copied reference material. I sourced the business idea the high demand of photocopying services by the many residing university students around the university. I operate the photocopier when not in class and when in class i leave it in the responsibility of a friend who is currently not in school due to financial issues. I charge ksh. 3/= per page which amounts to about 0.04USD. With my earnings i first pay for a constant charge of electricity from the grill and pay my friend an equitable amount. I also buy some paper and ink for the machine and i save the rest.
I look forward to first design my cafe to a more customer attractive look by putting up an electric banner that is visible from a distance. Secondly i shall repaint part of the shop to make it look new. I also need to do an overhaul service maintenance on the printer and computers and pull the back to their original and if not to perform better.
