About Me

i am 24 years and i come from a family of four girls where am the last born. i currently graduated with a diploma in catering form Kenya Polytechnic College. i graduated with a credit. i am a hardworking girl who like to be independent in all ways. this makes me to work more hard to be successful in this competitive country. i like to watch movies and travel as well. during my free times i also like to help my grandparents or in the church when am called upon to do so. am a born again christian who strives to do good each an every day. i am also ambitious and i like to achieve greatly in life.

My Business

i finished my diploma in the year 2013. after which i did an internship in catering in kikwetu restaurant in nairobi. after that i decided to start my own business with the help of friends and relatives and my savings. i thus started a business of selling stationary like books, pens, and other accessories used in schools and colleges around nairobi and limuru. since then i have won several tenders to supply office stationary to several schools both high and primary schools. my business have picked since i can know manage 13300 Kshs per month. the only shortcomings is that i still have little capital to compete with my competitors

Loan Proposal

My name is Emily Nyutu and am requesting for a loan from the Zidisha community to enable me boost the inventory of my business. I started my business with low capital but the business have grown significantly through investing back of my profits. non the less, am still unable to compete with my competitors since i cannot buy my supplies at discounted prices like they can do since they are able to buy goods in bulk. this has also reduced my capabilities of ensuing on time deliveries when called upon by schools. am therefore requesting for the loan which will enable me to reduce these weaknesses and compete better and ensure the success of my business. currently i make sales of not less than $750 a month. this leaves me with a profit of about $160 per month after expenses including my salary. Kindly fund my loan to enable the growth of my small young business. May God bless you as you continue with your good work.

Regards;
Emily
