I am William, born in 1981 and bred in the rural areas of south Nyanza .where I started my education from primary to secondary school level.I later came to the city where I did my college education.I Started my business two years ago in the estate where I live.I raised seed capital from my brother who gave me five thousand shillings as my start up capital,I also took some utensils from our house to use in the business, the premise was not usually in use so as the landlord had no hard time leasing it out. from then it has been growing steadily up to date.I like spending time with my family and traveling alot.
I operate a restaurant my estate, its near my residence,it mainly caters for the neighborhood especially the bachelors who do not have time to go and cook .It is an essential business since nobody can evade hunger and due to its satisfying the basic human needs its profitable. I employ two workers who help me in the day to day running of the business.in a good day I can make a profit of three thousand shillings after deducting all the expenses.this helps me to pay business rent at ten thousand shillings pay my workers and take care of my kids school fees and also save for the business.
When granted the loan,I would like to spend three thousand shillings to buy a machine for making chips, this will help boost my revenue as the product is popular with the youths and children and its not available in the neighborhood.I will spend two thousand shillings to expand the facility, one thousand shillings to procure more utensils and the remaining two thousand would be ploughed back to the business as capital.
