About Me

My name is Alice Namwawa, I come from a humble family. I live in Northmead Town ship in Lusaka Town.
I started my Primary School at Ngwerere Primary School in the neighboring township in Garden Compound. Then when I completed my primary course, I went to Olympia Secondary School were I completed my Grade 12. However, it took time for me to go to college to due lack funds to be enrolled. Therefore I started in the restaurant where I did raise money and enroll at Sylvia Catering Institute in Lusaka were I studied Food and Catering Management. I now hold a Diploma in Food and Catering Management. Through some hard work and determination I have managed to over come challenges pertaining to hardship. I have always had the desire and passion set up my own business. I started my business after I gained experience from my previous work, while working at the restaurant as cashier. I worked at the restaurant for 4 years of which gained vast experience to start up own business.

My Business

I am Involved in the restaurant business. I sell different types of food staffs at the restaurant. The following are the food staffs that I sell,

1. Local meals such as nshima .and Kapenta.
2. Chicken, fish, chips, sausages, salads, t-born and soft drinks.
3. Hot tea, coffee and lemon tea
4. Cups cakes and birth cakes and wedding cups
These goods are very useful indeed because they are daily consumable and demand is very high. Because mostly people during break hours and lunch hour want to eat and they sell very fast. For this reason I need to prepare food staffs and generate more money. The business is highly profitable and want to expand and open another outlet.

Project Proposal

Am requesting for this loan to purchase the following equipment for my restaurant outlet;
1. Serving pans and serving pots which cost me ZMW 5000.00
2. The tables and chairs will cost me ZMW 3500.00
Total cost will come to ZMW 8500.00
