My name is John. Was born in Nairobi. I couldn't say much about my childhood because it is rather average. I went through normal schooling from pre school to high-school. I managed to excel in high school and currently I am at Kenyatta University medical school in my third year.

My Business

I decided to venture into business for some extra cash. I run a cyber cafe near school which I make approximately $1000 a week, half of it about $500 goes to expenses.

Loan Proposal

Budget for the restaurant is $200,000. Of that, the two investors including myself have raised $135,000.Owing to that we need another $65,000 to launch the restaurant.The current investment is being used to pay cost of lease on the space while it’s built out and renovation expenses for the interior. It is also going to licensing costs and permit taxes for the restaurant and bar operations. An opening date of six months from now is anticipated.The money we are requesting from Zidisha will go toward the following needs:

Bar equipment, $15,000: We plan to serve the finest wines and spirits in the world of drinkers.In addition to that, we have established useful relationships with our distributors whom will partner with us to serve our customers better.
Food, $15,000:This is to complete the menu of the restaurant.Our years of experience have enabled us to established relationship with food lovers around the country and outside to supply the restaurant
Kitchen equipment, $35,000:A good restaurant ought to have a well equipped high quality kitchen.The amount will be used to purchase general cooking utensils, tables,silverware, a new king size oven with a 15-top burner, and refrigeration mechanism.
For revenue, we estimate an average of $5,000 per day over 22 operational days per month for a total revenue stream of $110,000 a month.Staff cost of $25,000 per month and operational costs of $75,000, we are left with enough money to repay your loan comfortably.
