About Me

Am a Kenyan citizen age 24..I recently graduated with a degree in bachelor of science Mathematics and Economics with IT. Immediately after university I started applying for jobs and some companies would call me for interviews but getting a position was proving to be difficult. Didn't give up but it reached a point where I had to do something about my life. I had a baby to take care of and a future to focus on so I had to act quickly. Due to the unemployment status in our country and being a young mother to a one and a half year old boy, I thought of something I could do to provide for myself and my son. Business was the easiest option I had. I talked to a relative and told him what I had in mind and he was willing to help with the starting capital. From there I went shopping and I started selling from home and online. Since the money was little I could not afford a premises. Once i restock the goods the profits I use for my needs. Paying rent, upkeep, paying bills and the little left a save in a fixed account. It's been 4 months now since the business started. I would like to expand my business and add new stocks that I wasn't selling before to increase my revenue and profit.

My Business

My business revolves around selling men's and women's wear. What I do is i sell shoes and clothes for a living, I have an online account on Instagram. If one is interested in something he/she can order from online and we deliver country at a fee if it's outside Nairobi town. On weekly basis I would say I get a revenue of Kes 15000 to Kes 20000

Loan Proposal

I will use the money to buy more goods to expand my business . Since what you are offering is Kes 1300. I will buy inner wears for ladies and men. A dozen going for Kes 600 and for ladies Inner wear I would sell 1 @ 200. Giving me a revenue Of Kes 2400. The men's wear will go for Kes 250 giving me a revenue of Kes 3000. In total I will manage to get revenue of Kes 5400 and a profit Kes 4100. That is approximately USD 54 and a profit of USD 41.
