About Me

I am a Kenya citizen and have been brought up in the east lands area of Nairobi. i am a fully qualified accountant,i.e CPAK and currently finalizing my Bachelors Degree in Finance at the KCA University.
I have overcome cancer after three years on intensive treatment program where i had to lose my leg, currently i am a person living with physical disability (Right Leg Amputee). this has not hampered my spirit and i continue to offer my dedicated service to my employer despite the challenges that i have. i have been consistent and my performance at my work place has been more than just satisfactory.
I began my business three months ago after considering the need in my neighborhood for a good meat shop. i utilized the small savings of Kshs 85,000 to pay the business premises rent,buy deep freezer and do internal fittings.
The place where i live is an upcoming cosmopolitan area with apartments and residential properties being developed on a daily basis. when i compare the last two years, the population has more than double and hence creates a prospective lucrative market for consumer goods.
I like watching soccer both in the stadium and on TV and having some quality time with my God

My Business

I operate a growing Meat shop in the Estate. i offer bee,Chicken,Minced meat,Liver,Fish fillet and assorted meat products.
The demand has been growing and currently i have managed to net a restaurant operate whom i supply goods worth Ksh 2,000 daily. the demand is growing and am gearing myself for the 30% government and governmental institutions tender provisions. i have presented my tender proposals to schools and institutions to be included as provider for meat products in the coming financial year beginning January 2015.
I opted for this business because of my locality and the residential nature of the area. meat products are basically consumables which one can repeat often provided they are assured of quality.
My revenues are basically from the sales which i generate from the business and the costs are majorly the cost of sales,i.e purchase costs for the meat products, staff costs and shop rentals.
I know that the daily proceeds from the business will be able to finance my loans supplemented with my salary that i earn from employment.
Currently i reinvest my profits to grow my business as i want to prepare myself for large orders that i will be handling come next year when schools open after the December holidays

Loan Proposal

I intend to acquire 20 Chicken for sale as i prepare to cash in on the december holidays. I wish to net the chicken before prices sky rocket. currently i have a supplier who is ready to supply me 1 chicken at kshs 420 and this will help me grow my business over the december holiday period.
