About Me

My name is Carolyne Nangira. I was born in 1985 at the shores of Lake Victoria in Port Victoria Centre. I completed my primary education and successfully passed. I could not proceed with my education due to the death of my father. Life was harder to me because of poor state of living. I was sponsored by AMREF, a USAID organization. (They trained me in tailoring and gave me a Singer machine.) From that skill, I had to get basic needs. I opened up a small shop which by now I can keep my family alive and happy. I am married with two children. During my days, I liked farming and I was a good athlete while at school. My land is rich fishing ground and fertile land for farming.

My Business

As in our daily living we need home basic needs, I intend to expand my small shop so as to reach my customers’ needs. The shop goods are in demand and they are needed by customers every day, mainly food stuff and home utensils. The profits I make will be used for nursing my family and the expansion of my business. In return, I am hoping to have an additional interest and growth to my business of about 5% incrementally.

Loan Proposal

From the little amount of loan request that will be deducted cash deposit i will use the remaining amount on increasing a few goods to add on my stock ranging to 150 $ the profits that i will get on that i will use to pay for my shop rent as a result of added revenue. i will expect an addition increment of about 5% to my previous net profit. customers will be also access to their needs.
thanks in advance God. Bless Zidisha Hoping to participated fairly in future.
