About Me

I am Richard Kyere. I was born on 30th August, 1979. I am the first born of Six children to my parents who are Subsistent farmers and my mother a petty trader
I am a graduate with degree in Business Management.
Since my parents found it hard to foot my bills it became very difficult for me on campus financially.
Since my mother was a petty trader a started collecting monies from my colleagues on campus to sell to them some food items such as rice, oil, drinks and others. This started growing and was able to help foot my bills on campus.
I developed interest in this business and have kept till now. I am married with two children whereby this business has become our main source of income.
We have a rich hospitality culture of which my new Landlord has given me a piece of plot in front of the house to use as my sale point.
However, my little girl has developed great interest in this business and always says she would be a great businesswoman when she grows up while my elder boy also says he would be a medical doctor to safe lives.
Reading is my hobby most especially reading the word of God and explaining to the listening ears of my customers which makes them always come to my joint for any item of their choice.

My Business

RICHELEN K ENT. is the name of my business which deals in the sale of all sort of food items such as rice, tin tomatoes, tin fishes, oil canned drinks, bottled drinks and others.
These food items are highly demanded in my locality due to the growing population of the area. The place is a new site to the main town and people find it difficult buying these items from the town to the place hence making my joint a very busy business point.
Since this business earn me little to foot my bills on campus has given me the urge to continue in the business. Moreover, it has become the family business which is keeping the family moving financially.
The profit from the business is reinvested into the business to speed the growth but has also been the main source of finance to the family and helping me to foot the bills of my children education as well as home improvement.

Loan Proposal

Some bags of rice and other assorted drinks for my shop.
This will help maintain some items in my shop to meet my customers demand.
I therefore expect my profit margin to be increased by Ghc30 to Ghc50 for a day or two depending on the kind of items sold
