About Me

I am Asante Andrews . A native of Berekum in the Brong Ahofo Region of Ghana. i started my basic education school at Berekum M/A Basic. After my Basic education i went to Juaben senior high school in Juaben.
After secondary school i had the chance to attend tertiary but due to financial constrains i entered into farming(poultry) . i was working with a friend in his farm(poultry) for about two years when i taught of starting my own poultry farm at my community (Nyametease). Although it wasn't easy for the start because my capital was very low and at the same time i was finding for myself and a younger brother who was also in junior high school.

My Business

Andy Best is the name of my farm. i rear chickens like White Leghorn, Cornish breed and many more. its a small poultry farm located in my community.
I got to know that before people of my area will have access to it. As a result i decided to established this farm there. Again as i started this farm i was able to get revenue to assist my brother's education and myself. This has reduce the dependency rate on my parents who are peasant farmers.
The cost and accessibility to foods like eggs and meat to my people have also reduce and the have easy access to these foods.

Loan Proposal

I will use the loan to buy poultry feeds like Maize flour, Rice flour and many more. I will buy three bags of Rice and Maize flour each with unit price of $5 per one. I will also make maintenance and buy more chickens. These will help to attract more customers in my area. Also my community doesn't need to take taxi to the city to buy meats and eggs when in needs of. It will help me to cater for my brother, two siblings and my wife. with the support from my lenders my profit margin will increase from$10-$25 a week to $25-$35 a week.
The increase in profit margin will help me to pay my loan when granted and also assist me re-invest my remaining or surplus to expand my business.
hope my cherished lenders will aid me acquire the loan.
Thank you.
