About Me

I am Lawrence Gyasi Antwi, born on 31st August 1990. I was born into a little town called Effiduase in the Ashanti Region. I had my elementary education at the Martyrs of Uganda Roman Catholic school. My father was a peasant farmer so I spent much of my time after completing Elementary School working on our Rice farm. I attended Konongo Odumasi Senior High School where I read Agricultural Science. I could further my Education at Wesley College of Education. Currently I am a trained teacher and I still work on the farm alongside my teaching work. In this side of the world teaching is not that lucrative to provide me much returns to extend my Rice farm project. I have managed to acquire 3 acre land to maximize my farm and if possible I will venture into other water-loving crop to fetch me more profit.

My Business

I am Rice farmer, I have employed two labourers to help me in the nursery of the rice alongside planting them at stake and finally harvest them. I raise and harvest about 8 bags per a period of farming. I can plant for about 6 times annually. I have about eight sheds to help me dry my harvested Rice. I produce rice for retail market and also offer some for sale at retail prices to my neighbours. This has been my work since birth. Sometimes I deliver my produce to bigger shops to sell on my behalf at bargained price. My business helps me support my aged Father financially and has helped me much to better myself Academically, hopefully it will help me cater for my children someday to come.I request for loan grant to maximize my rice project. This money can help me plant more seedlings, care for them till harvest and employ two other labourers to help on the land. Generally, I can finance my aged dad. I can open different Rice shop in a different neighbourhood and reinvest into other water-loving crops.

Loan Proposal

This $120 loan will fetch me more money to buy Chemicals to boost my harvest and engage in the farming of other water - loving plants Like sugar cane.
Engaging into such ventures will help me to expand my business and get more money to cater for my aged father.
Conclusively I expect 30% Increment in my business at large.

    Dear lenders,
I was able to get in touch with the applicant (Lawrence Antwi) and he explained he wasn't making payments because his sim card which he had registered with Zidisha got misplaced.
Since the sim card has been replaced for him, he promised to make part of his payments today.
